Nigerian’s central bank launches eNaira, created alongside payments company Bitt, with wallets on Android and iOS; 500M coins, worth $1.21M, have been minted — The eNaira was developed by fintech company Bitt, whose digital currency management system (DCMS) is also behind the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank’s CBDC.
